Hadimba Temple: High above a hillside within a dense grove of gigantic Cedar Deodar trees stands this magnificent temple of Hadimba Devi. Built in a conical pagoda style with 4 tiers of wooden slates, this temple was built 500 years ago. The outer panels are richly carved and display a number of horns of wild antelope and sheep which were sacrificed to this goddess.
Rohtang Pass is a high mountain bypass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from Manali. A full day venture with several activities like riding, horse, skiing and paragliding on the top of the pass stay everyone entertained from old people to ladies to kids to the adventure seekers.
Solang Valley : 13 Kms northwest of Manali are the beautiful hill slopes of Solang Valley. On the banks of the Solang Stream, it has excellent ski slopes in winter, while in the summer it is the venue for Hot Air Ballooning, Paragliding and four-wheeled motorbike rides on the hill tracks. This is also starting point for the 2-day Beas Kund trek leading to small beautiful glaciated lake in the high mountains. You can also take a horse ride into the meadows and forests all around. In winter go skiing or take a snow scooter ride on the glistening snow slopes. You can also climb up to a natural shivling which is formed in December and February each year.
Tibetan Monastery: A small monastery built in the traditional style in the 1960s, has a large gilded image of the Buddha besides some interesting thankas. Close by is the Tibetan Medicine clinic.
Club House: Operated by Himachal Tourism and located above the Manalsu stream a tributary of the River Beas, the Club House has facilities for badminton, table tennis, a bar and restaurant, a reading room and a large lawn with beautiful flowers.
